Internships and career:
Middlesex students can participate in various student exchange programs at over 100 partner institutions around the world. Internships are offered as part of studies or in parallel with studies, with options lasting from 1 week to one year. The university cooperates, among others with KPMG and the British Ministry of Justice.
The university operates the MDXcel initiative, in which students work in teams on real customer-led projects and MDXcelerator, which offers support, mentoring and incubation for start-ups.
Facilities for students:
The university has a 24-hour library that has over 1000 study places, 600 computers and 340 laptops for rent. Opened in 2018. The Science Support Zone in the Hendon library offers student meetings and workshops on diverse topics.
The courses take place in well-equipped and specialized workshops. Midwifery students use real equipment, later used at work, and students of sports sciences can work with players and coaches of the elite Saracens rugby club. Law students have access to specialist chambers at Hendon City Hall. Creative students can take advantage of television and radio studies, sound recording and an 80-point digital multimedia workshop.
