The course prepares students to teach physical activity and sport and explores sport theories in a variety of contexts. Students learn about current practices in the industry and carry out projects. The course also involves exploring the impact of physical activity on children’s development and raises awareness in aspects of ethics and the professional responsibilities of teachers and coaches.
Our suggestion of universities in England for sports-related degrees, particularly for the Sport and Physical Education BA (Hons) course, is the Bedford campus (University of Bedfordshire).
